Hello, I have two of these bars available. One in white and one in black. This is a tension bar that goes between your floor and your ceiling. Ceiling heights between 7 and 10 feet. It is a pressure fit, so no permanent installation or screws are needed. Place beside bed or couch or shower or Anywhere you need assistance standing up or added stability. Even once mounted the grab bar portion, swivels and locks to any position you need. Weight capacity up to 300 pounds. Had this installed in my mothers home and it was a lifesaver.
